Cindy and Casey’s love story spans two states—California sunshine and Texas charm—so their Save the Date needed to feel equally heartfelt and down-to-earth. I designed a piece that reflects their playful energy, mutual love for travel, and the merging of two distinct home bases.

Design Concept:

I crafted a minimalist, typographic layout that let the couple’s names and date take center stage. To add a personal (and slightly cheeky) touch, I illustrated a small bear and armadillo—subtle nods to their home states. The animal duo served as a quiet metaphor for their relationship: different roots, perfect match.
