For NoDa Pourhouse—a gastropub nestled in Charlotte’s eclectic NoDa arts district—I created a custom typographic logo that reflects the venue’s relaxed vibe and elevated take on pub classics. The goal was to design something that felt both handcrafted and contemporary, with strong typographic presence at its core.
Design Concept:
The logo centers on bold, custom lettering that blends industrial grit with refined character—echoing the contrast between the Pourhouse’s rustic interior and its carefully curated menu. The type treatment features subtle quirks and softened edges, giving it a worn-in, welcoming feel. No icons, no frills—just type that speaks for itself.
